Who takes the payment

Payments for Gifsy are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. They appear on your statement and they issue any refund, but you deal with us — email us and we will arrange it.

Cancelling

A plan renews every month on the date you first paid. Cancel any time from your Account page (Manage billing; it's in the menu under your profile picture): it stops renewing, you are not charged again, and you keep that month's credits until it ends. Credits from a plan don't carry over to the next month. If you see a Gifsy charge you don't recognise, that is a mistake and we will refund it; see aman@metamemory.tech.

Failed models refund themselves

A 3D model costs 1 credit, charged when the job starts. If it fails on our side, the credit goes back to your balance automatically — you don't need to ask. Every charge and refund is listed under Credit history on your Account page.

The 14-day refund

Within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, if you haven't used any of its credits, we will refund it in full, no questions asked. Just email us. A refund cancels the plan and removes that month's credits from your balance. Forgot to cancel and got renewed? Tell us within 14 days of the renewal, before using its credits, and we'll refund that month too. Packs bought before plans existed keep the same rule.

Everything else

• Something was broken. If models kept failing or came back unusable and we can't fix it promptly, tell us and we will refund the credits you spent on them, whenever it happened.
• You were charged twice. Duplicate or unrecognised charges are refunded, always.
• Months you have used. A month whose credits you spent on models made as described is not normally refunded. Ask anyway — we would rather refund someone than have them feel stuck.

If you bought Pro

Gifsy used to sell Pro, a one-time payment for unlimited 3D scenes and no badge. It is retired: 3D scenes are now free and unlimited for everyone. Your Pro access does not expire — it lasts for as long as Gifsy operates as a service — and your scenes stay badge-free. See Terms for what happens if we ever have to shut the service down.

Everything else is free

GIFs, stickers and 3D scenes cost nothing, always will, and never ask for a card. There is nothing to refund there. GIFs, stickers and 3D scenes do not need an account to make.

How to request a refund

Email aman@metamemory.tech from the address on your account, and say what happened. We aim to reply within two business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, and how quickly it appears is up to your bank — typically five to ten business days.
