AI 3D character generator
Describe a character or upload a photo of one. Gifsy builds a textured 3D model, fits a skeleton, and lets you watch it idle, walk and run before you download the GLB for your game or your Blender scene.
Write a sentence or add a full-body photo, and pick Character.
Text is drawn in a T-pose for you to approve, free. A photo can be redrawn in a T-pose or A-pose.
The GPU builds, paints and rigs it. Watch it idle, walk and run, then download the GLB or STL.
Humanoid characters get UniRig's body template: 22 bones, renamed to the names Mixamo uses, so the skeleton looks familiar to every retargeting tool. Characters that aren't shaped like a person get a free-form skeleton instead.
Bones
22
Hips, spine, neck, head, arms and legs.
Names
mixamorig:Hips…
Mixamo's naming, for easy retargeting.
Hands
One bone each
No finger bones: hands move as one piece.
Held items
Bound to one bone
A sword or rifle moves as one piece instead of bending.
Download the GLB and import it as it is: Unity with glTFast, Unreal with its glTF importer, Godot directly, or Blender with File, Import, glTF. The skeleton comes with the mesh. In Blender you can export it again as FBX if your pipeline expects that.
Every humanoid character can be previewed idle, walking and running in the viewer, and one holding a rifle can aim and fire. They're previews in the browser, not clips inside the file. How the animation previews work
Every account gets 2 free models. One model costs 1 credit, and a model that fails on our side refunds its credit automatically. After that, plans start at $9 a month for 10 models. See pricing
Yes. Pick Character and the model comes back with a skeleton fitted. Humanoids usually get a 22-bone body rig with Mixamo bone names; creatures that don't fit a human body get a free-form skeleton instead.
When the humanoid rig fits, the bones carry Mixamo's names (mixamorig:Hips, mixamorig:Spine and so on), so clips made for a Mixamo skeleton retarget onto it with little or no bone mapping in Blender or a game engine.
The GLB opens in Unity (with glTFast), Unreal (with its glTF importer), Godot and Blender, skeleton included. In Blender you can also export it as FBX.
Yes. Upload a full-body photo and pick Character. You can have it redrawn in a T-pose or A-pose first, free, which rigs and animates more cleanly. The face is rebuilt rather than pasted from the photo, so expect a likeness, not a scan.
The previews need the humanoid rig. A four-legged creature, or a shape the template couldn't fit, gets a free-form skeleton you can still pose, but without the walk and run previews.
Your first 2 models are free. No 3D skills needed.
