3D character animation
Every rigged humanoid Gifsy makes can be previewed in motion right in your browser: idle, walk, run, and aim and fire when it holds a rifle. See how it moves before you download, then take the skeleton into Blender or your engine for real clips.
Describe one or upload a full-body photo, and pick Character.
The GPU fits a 22-bone humanoid skeleton with Mixamo bone names.
Play idle, walk, run or aim in the viewer, then download the GLB.
Four motions, made to fit any proportions: every movement is applied around the character's own body.
Idle
Arms down, breathing, a slow look around. The default when a character loads.
Walk
A steady walk cycle with arms swinging against the legs and a little bob in the hips.
Run
A faster gait: longer strides, more bounce and a bigger arm swing.
Aim & fire
Shows up when the character holds a rifle: it shoulders it, aims and fires with a muzzle flash.
These motions play in the Gifsy viewer; they aren't saved inside the GLB. What the GLB does carry is the skeleton, with Mixamo's bone names (mixamorig:Hips, mixamorig:Spine, mixamorig:LeftArm and so on).
That makes adding real animation quick: clips made for a Mixamo skeleton retarget onto it in Blender, Unity or Unreal with little or no bone mapping, because the names already match.
The motions lower and swing arms that start out to the sides, as in a T-pose or A-pose. Arms in any other pose, like a photo of someone holding something, keep that pose and move with the chest. Characters from text are drawn in a T-pose for you, and a photo can be redrawn in a T-pose or A-pose for free before the model is made.
Every account gets 2 free models. One model costs 1 credit, and a model that fails on our side refunds its credit automatically. After that, plans start at $9 a month for 10 models. See pricing
Not as a clip yet. The motions are previews played in the viewer. The GLB you download has the skeleton, so you can add walk, run or any other clip in Blender or your engine, and Mixamo bone names make that retargeting quick.
Any character that got the 22-bone humanoid rig, which is most people, mascots and humanoid creatures. Characters with a free-form skeleton, like four-legged animals, don't show the motion buttons.
It only appears when the character is holding a rifle. Put it in the prompt, for example "holding a rifle in both hands", or start from a photo where they hold one.
Arms that aren't out to the sides at rest keep their pose and ride along with the chest. A T-pose or A-pose looks best, and Gifsy can redraw a photo in one for free before the model is made.
Your first 2 models are free. No 3D skills needed.
