Text to 3D
Gifsy's text to 3D model generator turns a line of text into a textured mesh. It draws a reference image for you to approve first, free, then our GPU builds the model. You get a GLB, an STL for printing, and for characters a skeleton.
Write what you want in a sentence and pick Character or Product.
The GPU draws a reference image in seconds, free (up to 20 a day). Redraw it until it's right.
Approve it and the GPU builds the shape, paints it and rigs characters. Download the GLB or STL, or embed it.
Write it the way you'd brief an artist: one thing, its style, its colours and materials.
Character
“A cartoon fox adventurer with a green scarf”
The fox on this page. Drawn in a T-pose, then rigged.
Product
“A wooden treasure chest with iron bands and gold coins spilling out”
A game prop: one object, materials named.
Product
“A chunky sci-fi rifle, matte grey with orange stripes, side view”
Name the colours and the view you want.
Character
“A small robot mascot with round eyes and a single antenna, toy style”
A style word (toy, cartoon, realistic) steers the look.
Character
Rigged, in a T-pose
People, creatures and mascots. Drawn standing in a T-pose, then fitted with a skeleton for posing and animation previews.
Product
Textured mesh
Props, products, furniture, food and weapons. No skeleton, just the object, painted all the way round.
The GLB opens in Blender, Unity (with glTFast), Unreal, Godot and three.js, so a prop or character you describe can be in your scene the same afternoon. Characters you make here can be previewed walking and running before you download.
Every account gets 2 free models. One model costs 1 credit, and a model that fails on our side refunds its credit automatically. After that, plans start at $9 a month for 10 models. See pricing
The preview images are free, up to 20 a day, and every account gets 2 free models. After that a model costs 1 credit on a monthly plan. You only spend a credit when you approve a preview.
Text is open to interpretation. Drawing a reference image first shows you what the GPU understood in a few seconds, and you can redraw it until it's right, before spending a credit on the full model.
One subject, a style word (cartoon, toy, realistic, low poly look), the main colours and materials, and anything distinctive about the shape. Leave out backgrounds and scenery: the model is one object or one character.
Yes. Props, weapons, furniture and characters all work. Characters come rigged, and you can preview them idle, walking and running before you download the GLB for Unity, Unreal or Godot.
Yes. Models you make are yours to use, including in commercial projects, games and client work.
Your first 2 models are free. No 3D skills needed.
