Upload a photo or describe what you want. Gifsy makes a textured GLB in a few minutes, and characters come rigged, ready for Blender, Unity, Unreal or the web.
Works with
Text to 3D
Describe it in a few words and pick Character or Product. You approve a free reference image first, so a credit only goes on a model you already like.
Prompt
Reference image, free

Eight models, each made from text. This is the exact viewer your visitors get when you paste a model's iframe into your site. Pick one and give it a spin.
An image to 3D model generator turns one photo, or a line of text, into a mesh you can turn all the way round. Gifsy builds the shape, paints the texture and, for characters, fits a skeleton, on a GPU in a few minutes. You get a GLB file to download, or an embed your visitors can drag.

Three steps, a few minutes on our GPU.

A photo with one clear subject has its background removed in your browser. Text gets a free reference image to approve first, up to 20 a day.
02
Our GPU builds the mesh, then paints it from your image. Pick Character and it gets a skeleton too, and you can usually watch it idle, walk and run before you download. An object stays a textured mesh. Times above are the fox's.

Take the GLB into your engine or 3D app, download the STL to 3D print it, or switch on its embed and paste one iframe into your site.
1 credit a model, charged only for the model. A failed one refunds itself.
Switch on a model's embed in your dashboard and this is the whole snippet. It isn't listed anywhere, and you can switch it off. Free accounts show a small “Made with Gifsy” badge; any 3D model plan removes it.
Works anywhere that takes an iframe
Carrd, Notion, Shopify, or anything with a custom-HTML block works the same way.
The usual way to show a 3D model on a page is a spinning video. The embed puts the model itself there.
A GLB is one binary glTF file, mesh and texture inside. No converter, no plugin.
Drag it into Unity, Unreal or Godot as a prop, a placeholder or a character to animate.
Import, pose the rig, retopologise or kitbash. A starting point you'd otherwise block out by hand.
Paste one iframe into a product page or a portfolio and visitors turn it themselves.
Turn a sketch, a toy or a product shot into something you can turn around and light.
The honest list, so a credit goes on something that will work.
Works best
Not for
3D models need a real GPU, so this is the one Gifsy tool that runs on a server. Here is exactly what it gets.
Leaves the browser
Only the cut-out
The background is removed in your browser. The cut-out goes to our GPU and is deleted once the model is made or the job fails.
Leaves the browser
The text
Sent to the GPU to draw the reference image you approve. The approved image is cut out in your browser too.
Leaves the browser
Nothing
The background is cut away in your browser before anything is sent. The GPU never sees it.
Finished models are stored privately in your account and served only to you. Every case is spelled out in the privacy policy.

They run in your browser, and GIFs and stickers don't even need an account.
Who built this
Gifsy began as a 3D photo maker that runs entirely in your browser, which is why that tool, the GIF maker and the sticker maker are free. A real 3D model can't be made in a browser tab: it takes a GPU a couple of minutes per model, so models cost credits and nothing else does.
We kept the habits: you see what the GPU gets before you pay, a failed model refunds itself, and your photo's cut-out is deleted when the job is done. Two people, no company yet, made in India.

Every account gets 2 free credits, and one model costs 1 credit. After that, monthly plans start at $9 a month for 10 credits; unused credits reset each month and you can cancel any time. If a model fails on our side, its credit comes back automatically.
Yes. Turn on the embed for a model in your dashboard and paste the iframe into Webflow, Framer, WordPress or any page; visitors can drag it around. It isn't listed anywhere and you can turn it off. Free accounts' embeds show a small Gifsy badge, which any 3D model plan removes.
Yes. Models you make are yours to use, including in commercial projects and client work.
Yes. Every model comes with an STL next to the GLB: rebuilt as one solid, watertight piece, 10 cm on its longest side, ready for Bambu Studio, Cura or PrusaSlicer. STL holds shape only, no colour, so scale and paint it as you like.
Gifsy's other, free tool: one photo turned into a 2.5D parallax scene you can embed on a website and drag about ±20°. It isn't a mesh, but it keeps your photo exactly as it is.
